A name or location entered in a search tool is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its own results. Putnam County Criminal History does not retain or log those search terms on its systems.

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Putnam County Criminal History does not maintain, assemble, or sell a database of personal criminal-record information. It publishes general directions to the Putnam County Sheriff, the circuit court, the Missouri State Highway Patrol Central Repository, and the Missouri Sex Offender Registry. The site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party criminal files.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the embedded search tools. Their privacy policies, retention periods, and sharing rules apply to information entered there. Review the provider’s policy before submitting a query because this policy does not control that processing.

Links to sheriff pages, court portals, state agencies, legal resources, and search providers lead away from this domain. The destination’s privacy terms then govern the visit. Read those terms before sharing personal data.
Advertising partners may use their own systems to measure activity across websites and select ads. Their technology, not ours, controls that tracking.

Missouri’s Sunshine Law, Chapter 610, governs public agency records, while section 43.506 governs dissemination from the state criminal-history repository; neither turns this private reference site into a government custodian. Subject to applicable law, a user may:
